Meet Our Staff

Mary Rivard, Director

Mary has been the director of Kiddie Corner Learning Center for 30 years. Mary has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Colby-Sawyer College. She also has completed graduate courses in administration at SNHU.

When not working with the children, Mary enjoys riding her horse, spending time in nature with her dogs and playing with her cat and her hens.  Mary and her husband, Jim, live in Deerfield NH on a small farm. Mary has an adult daughter, Amy, who graduated from the University of Vermont, and now lives with her husband in Vermont.

Kiddie Corner would not be where it is today without our many wonderful lead teachers, associate teachers, office manager and assistant director.

Madeleine Couture, Office Manager

Madeleine has been working at Kiddie Corner, in various capacities, for 20 years. She has worked in every age group and does the bus route for the school age class. Before working at Kiddie Corner, Madeleine worked at Notre Dame College in administration. She then became a stay at home mom for 7 years until starting at Kiddie Corner. Madeleine is now the office manager, conducts tours and supervises staff.

When she is not working at Kiddie Corner, Madeleine enjoys art, sewing and spending time with her 2 dogs, 2 cats and several exotic pets. Madeleine has 3 children who are attending and/or have graduated from college. Her husband, Rick, works part time at the Manchester Health Department and part time at Kiddie Corner doing maintenance.

Dale Tack, Co-Director

Dale has worked here at Kiddie Corner for over 30 years and is the Co-Director. She has a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education and recently completed an Early Childhood Administration course at NHTI. Dale is responsible for Kiddie Corner tours, and staff scheduling, training and counseling. She is a volunteer counselor at CareNet and is very active in her church community.  She lives in Manchester, NH with her husband, dog, and two sons.

Kiddie Corner stands behind its policies and employs certified teachers and teacher's aides who have Early Childhood Education degrees or credits and are dedicated to working with your children. All our lead teachers are certified in C.P.R. and First Aid. We hold regular teacher workshops on site to keep our teachers up to date and enthusiastic. Our teachers are required to take 24 hours or more of workshops per year.

To learn more about our classroom teachers, visit the Classes pages. In addition to the classroom teachers, we also have several part time aids who help out during the day.
